You Always Said Pinochet
(words and music
by Justice Putnam)
(roughly to “You Take The High Road)
I’d always say, “Pinoshay”
You always said, “Pinoshet.”
But what of the names of the
Disappeared before Ya!
I will dance on the grave
Of Augusto “Pinoshay”
And you can spit
If you insist
On Augusto “Pinoshet!”

Re: Pinochet Dies: An Early Christmas Gift
Tue, December 12, 2006 - 8:32 AMI'm not fond of Pinochet by a long stretch, but how is this relevant to KALX? -

A college radio station that my friends have been DJ's at. I was the co-host of the FM/ French Connection with Simon Dray on KUSF; the show originated on KALX.
I live in Berkeley and listen to KALX.
Pinochet was a murerous thug and his passing and my "thoughts" might be found interesting by those who listen to KALX.
Because it's fuckin' rock and roll, man!

Re: Pinochet Dies: An Early Christmas Gift
Wed, December 13, 2006 - 10:54 AMYeah, whatever.
A murderous thug finally dies and you question the forum I have used to announce it; a forum that is known for its anti autoritarian stance over the years...
Yeah, whatever...
I guess you are more interested in playlists and mundane trivia than some actual "kick in the nuts" news and the insult hurled at this thug, a thug propped up and protected by the very same thugs in the White House now as back in the 70's and 80's.
Because when Cheney, or Rumsfeld, or Gonzales and others die, I will spit and dance on their graves also; and rest assured, I will announce it here.
Whatever!
